about your donation
Eighty-five percent of your donation
to Hands Across the Sea, Inc. goes directly to Hands' programs
and specific Hands Wish Lists
that you designate through the PayPal interface. If you
do not have a specific school, library, or community reading
program in mind, we will allocate the funds to fulfill current
Wish Lists of our Caribbean Literacy and
School Support (CLASS) program. We compile the Hands Wish
Lists through requests from U.S. Peace Corps volunteers, school
principals, community leaders, and NGOs working to improve literacy
and education in the English-speaking Eastern Caribbean. Your
gift will be applied toward providing great books and much-needed
teaching resources for students, teachers, libraries, community
reading programs, and after-school youth centers.
